"Dragostea Din Tei" (Love under the Linden Trees) was originally released in Moldova in 2004 by the band, O-Zone. O-Zone consists of the band members: Dan Bălan, Radu Sîrbu, and Arsenie Todiraş. This song was made famous by Gary Crosina, who originally lip-synched and danced to the song while on webcam, making it popular in North America.
Note: ** Can mean a beep on a pager, a cell phone, or anything electronic. I translated it as a text message, but it is infact.. a beep.
I don't own anything to do with this, whereas it means the lyrics or music or such. I'm merely doing this for amusement, and to help people experience the song in it's full potential.
ALSO:
I've noticed that this video is banned, yes - banned in 215 countries. So, if you can't view it, here's the lyrics in a condensed form:
*mai-ya-hi, hu, ha, ha-ha*
Hello
Welcome
It’s me, an outlaw.
Please feel free my love, to accept happiness.
Hello, hello.
It’s me, Picasso.
I sent a *text* message
But I’m brave
and you should know that I’m not asking for anything.
You want to leave, but you don’t want, don’t want, don’t want to take me.
don’t want, don’t want, don’t want to take me.
Your face and the love from the linden tree
Both remind me of your eyes.
I’ll call you to tell you how I feel now
Hello, my love, it’s me, your happiness.
Hello, hello, it’s me again, Picasso.
I sent a message, but I’m brave
and you should know that I’m not asking for nothing.
