Russia's Defense Ministry images show a second round of joint drills with #Belarus practicing the use of tactical nuclear weapons carriers.
Russia explicitly links the nuclear drills ordered by #Putin to what it said were "provocative statements and threats by certain Western officials against the Russian Federation".
In a statement, the ministry explains that the drills involve the Iskander long-range tactical missile system, as well #Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, both of which #Russia has deployed to Belarusian territory in recent months.
