More than 165 years after its construction, the Warren B. Shepard house on Riverside Drive is still telling stories about Battle Creek’s pioneer past. Now, thanks to the collective efforts of preservationists, scientists and businessman/builder Hans Stark, the city’s oldest brick home will be sharing its story for decades to come.
