Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan says he is going to ask US President Donald Trump to resume peace talks with the Taliban.
The leaders will meet next week at the United Nations General Assembly.
Khan made the comments as he launched round-the-clock operations at a key border post on Afghanistan border. The crossing was earlier operational for only 12 hours.
