A Palestinian woman involved in a recent disturbance at Wisma Transit Kuala Lumpur (WTKL) has apologised and expressed regret for her actions.
Aminah Muhammad Nafi Jamal Abd Rabah explained that the incident occurred due to her stress over not being able to contact her child in Gaza for a week.
She acknowledged Malaysia's generosity and care towards Palestinians, expressing sincere gratitude in a video.
The disturbance, which involved some Palestinians behaving aggressively, stemmed from frustrations over being denied permission to stay outside WTKL.
The Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia also apologised and stated that the women involved would be sent back to Gaza.
