In this videoI am going to show you how to transfer your data from PS4 to PS5 in Death Stranding Director's Cut so you can start playing right away where you left from.

So, what are you going to need for this? Pretty simple, only 3 things:
your PS5 logged into the same account you used while playing the game on your PS4 where all your save data is stored.
Death Stranding PS4 version installed with the original save data (if you don't have it, you can transfer it via USB or download it from the PS4 Cloud Save in case you have PlayStation Plus). I have mine here in the same PS5 because my PS4 is now back in its box, but I am guessing you can do the next steps from the PS4 as well. I am doing this process this way because I have no other option.
And, finally, Death Stranding Director's Cut version installed on the same PS5.
With those 3 things in place let's follow 3 easy steps:
#1 - Login to your PS4 session of the game, open your cufflinks menu, go to System, and down to Export Save Data. There are a lot of fine print details that you should read in case you are in the middle of a mission or missions because you can lose stuff or some progress. I have platinumed the game so I didn't read this, but I really advice you do it in case you are in the middle of the game.
#2 Scroll all the way to bottom, select Ok and your data will now be on the server.
#3 Switch to the Director's Cut, Select Load Game (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5), then select ok again and boom, you're done!

You will then unlock a bunch of trophies, PCCs, color schemes, trophies, all that jazz, and you will be ready to continue with the game where you left from.
