A comparison of the Rolex Daytona Series 3 116520 and Pagani Design PD1644

FOR WATCH COLLECTORS One of the most iconic watches of the 20th Century is the Rolex Daytona.

On October 25, 2017, Paul Newman's personal Rolex Daytona Reference 6239 was auctioned off by Phillips Auction House at a final price of $17.75 Million US Dollars. This makes it the most expensive watch in the world.

Earlier this year wanting to try a Chronograph I purchased a Homage to the Daytona made by Pagani Design reference PD 1644. I made a couple of videos – with an unboxing and initial impressions. Since then this watch has been my goto watch.

But I have been hoping to compare this to the real thing – and this week my wish came true. Thanks to Mr X I now have on loan the Rolex Daytona Series three reference 116520 with the Rolex 4130 Automatic Movement.

So today I am going to do a comparison of the Real and Homage and give you my thoughts. I appreciate this video might polarise opinions BUT I will to try and be unbiased and objective in my assessment.
