(22 Apr 2015) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was welcomed to the Elysee presidential palace in Paris on Wednesday by French President Francois Hollande.
The two leaders were due to hold a meeting during which the crisis in Ukraine and energy relations with Russia were set to be discussed.
Poroshenko and Hollande are expected to speak at a joint news conference later on Wednesday after the signing of a number of agreements between their two countries.
