Hours after the Congress party announced Rahul Gandhi as its pick from the Raebareli constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the result of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was clear. He also reminded that he had earlier said Rahul Gandhi was finding a new seat, other than Wayanad.
Addressing an election rally in West Bengal's Bardhaman-Durgapur, PM Modi asserted, "The result of this election is clear. No need for any opinion polls. I had said this earlier, 'shehzada' (Rahul Gandhi) will also lose from Wayanad. And will therefore look for a second seat."
