The Scott Ransom is part of the new breed of long travel 29ers, it slots into the Scott range as the full-on enduro race bike. There are now five models in the range, the 900 Tuned, 910, 920, 930 and one women's specific Contessa model, all are 29ers. As with other Scott full suspension bikes, you can easily swap to a 27.5" wheel set up. A flip-chip on the rocker link tweaks the geometry to suit the different wheel sizes.
The Ransom has a lightweight frame with both carbon fibre and aluminium offerings available. It has 170mm of suspension travel front and rear, combined with dialled angles and Scotts TwinLoc system. This makes the bike super capable on challenging downhill sections, fast on transitions and efficient up the climbs.
