Hello, welcome and thank you for joining us :) Maggie, an Australian magpie, came to live with us on Tuesday 30th November 2021. She has been a source of joy ever since and I hope she is as much an inspiration to you as she has been to us.
Maggie was a fledgling when she was found abandoned and injured on a farmers driveway. She is blind in both eyes and has some slight deformation of her left leg. She was nurtured initially by a wildlife rescue person and came to us at the age of 4 months.
We are learning about caring for a wild bird and welcome your comments as we learn about this amazing creature together.
