This video troubleshoots a 500 cfm, four barrel, vacuum secondary carburetor IDLE problem. Whenever this Summit carb gets up to operating temperature with the engine, it exhibits a lean condition. A Summit idle feed restriction kit was purchased, and the carburetor was pulled from the engine, analyzed, received a new set of primary idle restrictors, brought to a baseline, re-installed, and given an initial tune. Then the car was driven to operating temperature and the carb given a final tune. One more drive and we were satisfied - mission accomplished on the old Ford!
