Japanese Fried Chicken, Karaage is my favourite dish. It's normally deep fried. I wanted to try to cook in my new Air Fryer! It turned out as good as deep frying. Crispy outside and juicy inside. Ingredients are simple, chicken(2 lb), grated ginger(1tbsp) , grated garlic(1tbsp), soy sauce(1/4 cup) and potato starch(1/2 cup). Chicken could be breast, however, I found thigh is tender. Soy sauce has to be Japanese soy sauce such as Kikkoman. You can adjust(more and less) ginger and garlic as you like. If you can't find potato starch, you can use corn starch or half corn starch and half flour. Please adjust temperature of Air Fryer and cooking time according to your Air Fryer instructions.
