There are some music showcases where it is just an opportunity to do something different, to play to a new audience and expect absolutely nothing in return except maybe getting one new fan or contact number, but there are other times when a artists showcase is run by music lovers who do their homework and hire a production team that is all about the Music, where they really want to see the futures of musicians and songwriters get to the next level in their careers.
Other times promoters are looking for a quick buck and prey on artist and their supporters, where they sell you the dream that that band you love is gong to get the opportunity to play in front of important people in the music industry, lets hope the get signed!
