The UWA Institute of Agriculture held its 14th-annual Postgraduate Showcase at The University of WA's Ross Lecture Theatre on 30 September, 2020. About 100 agricultural industry professionals, academics, students and stakeholders attended to watch eight PhD students from across three UWA schools present their research.
The event was hosted by IOA Director Professor Kadambot Siddique, with an Opening Address from CBH Group Chairman Simon Stead. The two sessions were chaired by Associate Professor Sally Thompson and Dr Amin Mugera. PhD student presenters were mentored by Emeritus Professor Graeme Martin.
Students are listed in order of their presentations: Daniel Kidd (13min51), Kirill Sukhoverkov (34min58sec), Jorge Silva Castillo (54min06sec), Maria Purnamasari (1hr13min5sec), Shamshad Ul Hassan (1hr31min37sec), Hui Cao (1hr53min14sec), Mohammad Golam Kibria (2hr13min23sec), and Omar Anwar (2min31min32sec).
