Mineral Resources Minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi says mining must be used to benefit the majority of the country's people.. He was speaking at a mining lekgotla currently underway in Midrand. The gathering hosts speakers from government, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and CEOs from different mines across the country. Ramatlhodi says the unrest and anxiety among the labour force will only settle once change is visible in their areas. The minister has also congratulated companies that, he says, recognise the logic behind transformation.
