1. Well what is our GSG product?
• GSG is a general service gasket material
• It is a compressed non-asbestos sheet that is green in color.
• GSG’s materials of construction are aramid fibers, mineral fibers, and inorganic fibers bonded with a nitrile binder.
2. What are some of GSG’s specifications?
• Its max service pressure is 1422 PSI.
• GSG has a max service temperature of 600°F (intermittent)
• And the recommended continuous maximum service temperature is 400°F.
3. What is GSG typically used for?
• GSG is a general use gasket; therefore it can be used in a variety of applications.
• Due to its superior sealing properties, GSG is typically recommended for oils, fuels, and for applications in gas distribution.
4. Additionally, the most common cross-referenced to our GSG product is ThermoSeal's product #4401.
