Pony riding is a way of life for the Ellet family. "You're basically like the babysitter for the racehorse."
Mary Ellet has worked as a pony rider at Del Mar and Santa Anita racetracks, interning with Del Mar Thoroughbred Club before completing the Godolphin Flying Start programme.
With the help of her paint horse Tango, Mary is following in her parents's hoofprints ponying at the track, supporting the thoroughbred racehorses as an outrider.
