Under the theme ‘ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth,’ the 43rd ASEAN Summit provides a platform for discussing the development and strengthening of ASEAN cooperation with external partners. Key discussion points include the Code of Conduct (COC) regarding the South China Sea, the South East Asia Nuclear Weapon Free Zone (SEANWFZ), the ASEAN Maritime Outlook, the ASEAN Outlook in Indo Pacific (AOIP) and issues related to Myanmar.

Serving as a venue for bilateral meetings between leaders of Southeast Asian nations and their partner countries, the Summit aims to strengthen the achievement and foundation of the ASEAN Vision 2045.
