Starting somewhat North of the Ritz Carlton on the trails, pass the resort, find the trail access at the end of the tourist laden Golf Course coastal trail part, and continue South. The gate to the Open Space Cowell-Purisima Coastal Trail was happily open(*), so we take it to the end! :)
