I love eating sweet fresh Rambutan fruit. They can be bought at a Chinese or Asian supermarket or sometimes online: [ Ссылка ] . It's a weird hairy looking fruit that tastes sweet and jelly like. Its looks and tastes similar to Lychee, however they are not the same fruit. The taste is kind of grape like. Its sweetness is subtle.
You can open Rambutan fruit with your bare hands or fingers by peeling off the thick protective skin. The easier way is using a knife to cut the skin to peel. Or you can just stick a fork into the skin and twist to crack open the skin. Beware there is a seed / stone in the middle of the fruit.
