CPM cadres gathered at Parrys Corner to hold a rally towards the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
A large number of Police were deployed in the area.
CPM cadres stated that the changes to the Bill cause danger to farmers as Minimum Support Price is under threat along with several other issues.
CPM cadres also staged a roadblock by pushing away barricades bringing Perry's Corner to a standstill.
G Selva, District Secretary for CPM stated that the Bill is against the farmers' interest and CM Edappadi K Palaniswami should withdraw support to the Bill.
Police detained the cadres and cleared the road again for traffic.
