Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo nasceu em 1943, na Inglaterra. Praticou por 12 anos em retiro em uma caverna no Himalaia. Aluna de Khamtrul Rinpoche, tornou-se a segunda mulher ocidental ordenada no budismo tibetano (escola Drukpa Kagyu) e fundou um monastério de monjas, onde é a responsável hoje em dia, além de oferecer palestras e retiros pelo mundo todo.
Entrevistamos Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo em SP no dia 14 de maio de 2014 sobre diversos temas: felicidade genuína, liberação das aflições, sabedoria e compaixão, ansiedade e estresse, transformação e prática no cotidiano, diferença entre budismo e cultura, como encontrar um(a) professor(a).
