Lake of Sorrow is the debut studio album by the Norwegian gothic metal band The Sins of Thy Beloved. It was recorded at Sound Suite Studio in August, 1998 and released the same year through Napalm Records.
This is my ultimate favourite of the genre, imho it beats ToT's Velvet Darkness...(which I admire as well). The overal sound was great, but the guitar tracks sounded weak for my ears. Therefore I remastered the album in my home studio(RX-Studio). Now they are more audible,and the whole record became punchier!
