"We really have no information because we have not had access to the area. That is why we have been talking with the OSCE and I believe they are being allowed to go in, they are on their way, and we (all we) know (is) whatever they tell us. We were with them (OSCE) until five minutes ago. They have just been given permission to enter the area under police escort. We have no other information."

STORYLINE
Observers from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) were on Sunday permitted to travel to the scene of heavy fighting in Kumanovo.
Four OSCE cars travelled to the scene of the clashes, escorted by Macedonian police.
They are the first independent observers to enter the area since fighting began in the northern Macedonian town.
Eight police officers and 14 alleged members of an armed group have been killed in the clashes, authorities said on Sunday.
The fighting comes amid increased concern about political stability in the Balkan nation, which has a history of ethnic hostilities.
