What is YSR Cheyutha scheme?

The YSR Cheyutha scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in August 2020. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance of Rs. 75,000 to women in the age group of 45 to 60 years, who belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and Minority communities.

The scheme is being implemented by the Department of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The beneficiaries of the scheme will receive the financial assistance in four equal installments of Rs. 18,750 each.

Who is eligible for YSR Cheyutha scheme?

To be eligible for the YSR Cheyutha scheme, the woman must:

Be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
Be in the age group of 45 to 60 years.
Belong to the SC, ST, BC, or Minority communities.
Not be a beneficiary of any other government pension scheme.
How to apply for YSR Cheyutha scheme?

The application for the YSR Cheyutha scheme can be submitted online or offline. The online application form can be found on the website of the Department of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

To apply offline, the woman can submit an application form to the Gram Panchayat or Mandal Parishad office in her area.
