A court has been played a 999 call, made from Pakistan, in which the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif tells the operator he's killed her at their home in Surrey.
A handwritten note was also left by Sara's father, Urfan Sharif, next to her body saying he would be fleeing the country.
Sharif, stepmother Beinash Batool, and uncle Faisal Malik are all on trial at the Old Bailey in London. They deny murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
Sky’s correspondent Sabah Choudhry reports.
