Pasadena police were involved in a pursuit with a male suspect when the car was stopped using a PIT maneuver at the intersection of Corson Street and Allen Avenue near the 210 Freeway and an officer-involved shooting occurred.

Gunfire erupted between the suspect and officers, one officer was struck in the leg. That officer was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three firearms were found inside the suspect's vehicle, police said.
