The Hawes trail system is rad! It encompasses so many different types of trails and experiences, it's also heavily volunteer driven and just dig that! Fresh off the release of the @aribikes Timp Peak, we took Fezzari Marketing Manager (and former pro DH rider) Joey Foresta out to check out some new goods they'd recently built and it sure didn't disappoint!
The Hawes Trail Alliance, ProLine trails, and YES(Youth Enduro Syndicate) came together to build Dirt Therapy. Jason Lamb plays a key role in YES along with his wife Robin. I loved hearing about the "scholarships" they've been able to offer with the help of some local shops and bike companies. It just goes to show what a positive impact community engagement and trail building can have!
They also received some help from MB Rides and Knox Bros Construction on the heavy equipment front and it looks like that'll happen again this coming year!
What a blast and it was super cool to spend some time with local ripper Jude Arnett. We followed Jude down a run on Dirt Therapy and this kid GOES FOR IT!! I'm stoked to follow along on his journey and to see where riding takes him. He has a rad family and I think you'll be seeing his name in lights here soon.
