2016 is upon us so that means spring field prep is upon us here at Werner Farms! We are strictly no-till but have become accustomed to utilizing vertical tillage on our farm over the past few years. Our vertical tillage tool is a 30ft Great Plains Turbo-Max.

Werner Farms, established in 1960, is a family farm operation based in rural Hanna, IN. The YouTube channel and social media pages are run by Keith Werner, the third generation of Werner Farms.

Werner Farms currently operates on 1,700 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat and rye along with 1,000 acres of custom harvest work. The farm has no-tilled since the early 1980s and continues to increase acres of cover crops year to year. Besides the farm operation, Werner Farms has sold Pioneer Seed since the 1980s. Numerous John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm ranging from a 730 to an 8530.
