In April 2023, the National University of Uzbekistan, “Uzbekistan-France” friendship society, A.S.I.E. in France. (Association de solidarité internationale et d’éducation) International Solidarity and Education Organization, teachers of the Universities of Tours and Orléans have established mutual cooperation on combating climate change. A number of issues were put on the agenda.
In the afternoon, teachers and students of the National University of Uzbekistan, A.S.I.E. Volunteers of the International Solidarity and Education Organization together planted 20 root trees on the territory of the City Clinical Psychiatry Hospital and 80 trees were planted in the campus area of NUU. During the planting process, Alain Payen told everyone about which types of trees are suitable for the climate of Uzbekistan and how to care for them.
