President Vladimir Putin met with renowned Russian conductor, violinist and viola player Yuri Bashmet on Thursday, on the musician's 60th birthday.
The president granted Bashmet with a Class 4 Order of Merit for services to the fatherland, and thanked him for his contributions to music and society.
