Ross Sozanni, an associate professor in North Carolina State University's Department of Plant and Microbial Biology, presented "Goldilocks Principle: Just the right amount of growth" as part of the EMSL Xchange Seminar Series. She spoke on the techniques derived from biological, mathematical, and engineering science used to unravel the mechanisms that regulate plant stem cell fate, maintenance, and behavior to better understand biological systems and relationships at a multi-scale level.
