Kyle Busch won a wild Auto Club 400 on Sunday when he passed a crashing Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin on the last lap of the NASCAR race in at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
But the fireworks weren't over. Tony Stewart, annoyed with how Logano blocked him earlier on one of the race's late restarts, climbed out of his car and got into a shoving match with Logano on pit road as their crews pulled them apart.
That came only a week after Logano and Hamlin tangled in the closing laps at Bristol Motor Speedway and then got into a war of words at the track and on Twitter.
At Fontana, Hamlin was placed in an ambulance after his No. 11 Toyota slammed hard into the inside wall following his wreck with Logano on the final two turns of the last lap.
NASCAR said Hamlin was taken to a nearby hospital "for further evaluation" but otherwise his condition was not immediately known.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second, Kurt Busch, Kyle's older brother, was third and Carl Edwards took fourth.
Kyle Busch's win gave Toyota its first Sprint Cup Series win at Auto Club Speedway and gave Busch, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing, a sweep of the weekend. He also won the Nationwide Series race on Saturday.
On the final lap Sunday, Logano and Hamlin were racing side by side for the lead when they slammed into each other. That sent both cars spinning and Busch swept past them in the final turn for the win.
Earnhardt now leads the Sprint Cup standings by 11 points over reigning champion Brad Keselowski, who finished 23rd.
