Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! This holiday season I want to share my family traditions with you. Cranberry relish has been on our thanksgiving table since I was a kid. Its a fresh, bright, tart but sweet alternative to cranberry jelly or cranberry sauce. It's a great way to cut through all the heaviness of all the traditional holiday dishes. Plus, its 3 ingredients, there's no cook time, no time on stove, no time in the oven. Its perfect!!
Heres the recipe:
1 whole bag of Cranberries, rinsed and dried
1/2c Sugar, I use coconut sugar, you use what you like.
1/2 Large Orange, or 1 whole medium, washed and dried
OPT. 1/2c Walnuts, chopped.
1. In food processor, chop cranberries.
2. Chop orange into pieces, then add to food processor and chop together.
3. Pour mix into a bowl, add sugar, mix well. Add walnuts if you want.
4. Chill in the fridge or serve straight away, its so good either way.
ENJOY!!
