LMS 45231 The Sherwood Forester would be at the helm of locomotive services railtour The Lakelander from Leicester to Carlisle via the 1 in 75 climb to Shap Summit . 45231 is seen some twenty minutes late from Shap Wells that sees the 5 climbing the 1 in 75 towards Shap summit . The tour would return later the that afternoon via the Cumbrian Coast but with 44932 running over the S&C the same afternoon we would be out for that tour instead.
