Superman's First Flight from Man of Steel is a perfect scene. And as the trailer for the 2025 Superman Movie released today, the beginning couldn't help but remind me of that scene. The teaser music while using John William's theme also reminds me of the vibes used by Hans Zimmer and Tom Holkenborg (JunkieXL).
Man of Steel and the DCEU had many flaws, but it was what many of us grew up with, and boy did it hit the feels right sometimes. Zack Synder's version is now one we must say goodbye too, along with Henry Cavill and Zimmer's Score. But with this trailer showcasing the work of actor David Corenswet, composer John Murphy, and director James Gunn, I am very hopeful for the new Superman, and can't wait to see what comes next for the Man of Tomorrow.
