Travis' historic hometown, Boston, Massachusetts, enjoys a well-deserved reputation for education. It boasts America's first public school, Boston Latin School, founded in 1635 (some centuries before Travis squeezed in two years before the family moved to nearby Newton Centre). Historic monuments and institutions abound, and Boston Public Garden, established in 1837, is home to a small fleet of dual-pontoon Swan Boats, cultural icons to visitors and natives alike. “I Beg Your Pardon,” filmed on a Swan Boat and reclaimed from the worst-preserved reel of the movie, was so badly faded that nothing like the original color was possible. But "FEELIN’ GOOD " was a sixties movie, and sixties fans, accustomed to psychedelic throbbing, ever-changing patterns of color (and purple trees?), may love it!
