How easy is it to program a Doosan Cobot?

Often, we hear the question about the skills required to program a cobot. Take a look and listen at this video from MK Machine & Engineering, a woman owned, family business located in Sunrise, Florida.
At the helm of the operation is CEO - President Kathleen Komorek, on the technical side is Dan Moog, VP/Manager and supporting, Dan is his 9 year old niece Autumn who was at the shop recently and wanted to learn about the cobot (how cool).

MK recently purchased a Doosan M1013 cobot and Doosan Puma 2600SYB. Based on a short cycle time and higher production quantities of the part, MK Machine decided to add a bar-feed and conveyor to their automated cell in order to support lights-out-manufacturing. MK Machine was supported by their local Doosan Dealer APT Tools, and Kevin bennett who worked very closely with the team at MK Machine and engineering to develop just the right solution for their needs.

Listen closely as Autumn talks out the process of working with the cobot, it is amazing to see in a short period of time Autumn’s prowess and understanding of the cobot, gripper and movement of the cobot, looks like MK will have no problem keeping the business in the family.
