Mayor Robert Garcia provides the latest information on COVID-19. Beginning June 15th, Long Beach will be moving away from the color-coded system of the state’s blueprint for a safer economy. Residents 16 years and older are eligible to receive the vaccine as a walk-up at the Convention Center on a limited basis. Availability is Monday-Saturday from 11am-2pm without an appointment. To register for an appointment on My Turn visit www.myturn.ca.gov starting April 15th. With Long Beach leading the way, it is still necessary to wear a mask and social distance, even if you’ve received the vaccine.
