In this video we look at the whammy bar design on the Fender Stratocaster.
The whammy bar is a fun toll to change the pitch but as two hands are required to play the guitar, it could only be used when notes are ringing out....until now.
I have designed a whammy bar that can be played while the guitar is played. This creates a LFO vibrato effect.
The motor did create some noise which is picked up by the pickups, so i have angled the whammy bar out of the way.
