It has been another busy week for the ALBA Party. Our membership has now grown to over 5,500. That is more than the Liberal Democrats, a party that has existed in one guise or another for over a century.
With the help of our supporters we are on course to overtake the Green Party and the Tories in Scotland in membership size by our Party Conference.
If you haven’t joined the party yet, the 30th of June is the deadline for “Founding” members to sign up to the party to be entitled to vote in debates and internal elections at our inaugural Party Conference in September. This week I also met with our ALBA MP team, Neale Hanvey MP and Kenny MacAskill MP. Both Kenny and Neale will be working hard to ensure that Westminster isn’t allowed to ignore the mandate Scotland has to choose its own future.
