(27 Mar 2019) UK members of parliament who voted on a series of eight alternative Brexit options have rejected them, all leaving no clear path forward in the Brexit process.
A vote for a permanent customs union with the EU came closest and was beaten by 272 to 264 votes.
Analyst Alan Wager says this makes a general election or a second referendum more likely.
