We are an American dragon boat team based in Okinawa, Japan consisting of active duty Navy, family members, and civilians. We race all over the island of Okinawa during the summer matsuri season, and have recently started racing internationally, keeping Okinawan spirit and culture alive.
At the beginning of the season we race in a 32-person, 2.5 ton dragon boat, which opens the harii (dragon boat) season for the island. In the summer we race smaller 10-person boats.
Our season is short, but we paddle with our hearts all season long and throughout the off season.
