1-Crown is narrow mesiodistally . →less labio-lingully.
2-Appear Longer than the maxillary canine..
3-The elevations and depressions are less developed
or slightly convex then straight straight Outline starting from Mesial → Less curved outlines.-4
in mesial and distal cusp slopes & slightly concave distal outline.
5-Two contact areas are closer incisally to the cusp ridge.
6-Cusp tip is more lingually inclined.
7-Cusp Tip less pointed
8- Short lingual ridge(Limited(Restricted) to incisal third) .
9-Two lingual fossae are connected to one lingual fossa.
10-Root depression more pronounced. ➢The depression in lower canine may be so deep
causing bifurcation in the root(may be apically or extend up to cervical third.
11-Sometimes has two root canals labially and lingually.
The canals open in one apical foramen or separate foramina.
12-Root o utline are nearly straight from the cervical line to the middle third then tapered to a
Sharply pointed distally curved apex. → more point
