Frontier Economics’ Danny Price says the energy crisis “isn’t going to go away quickly” and is not what a first-world nation should be dealing with.
“We’ve got a really serious problem, we’re meant to be a first-world nation and here we are told for the last three days straight we’re all facing blackouts and we should all cut down on load,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Industry is being told to sort of back off load so households can continue to have supply.
“That’s not the sort of stuff of a first-world nation at all. It’s preposterous, we should never have been here at all.”
