At GITEX Africa 2024, tech giant HP made waves by showcasing new products and emphasizing the pivotal role of technology and AI.

In an interview with MWN, Ertug Ayik, HP's Managing Director in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), underscored the company's vision, highlighting technology as a crucial enabler, especially for developing nations. He emphasized the importance of educating people to effectively harness technology.

In line with this vision, HP introduced two AI-enabled PCs—one for consumers and one for enterprises—aimed at transforming how people interact with technology.

"We see AI being a personal assistant to everyone," said the MD, adding, "everyone is being able to use AI to have personalized content and to offload as much as possible their operational work to have more time for the real things that they want to focus on."
