Faulty Halt Brake on this particular Mercedes Citaro from SMRT. Registration SMB172Y and running Service 75. Engine clocked 73,000+km mileage.

With a defective halt brake, the Citaro is able to move off even when both doors are opened. Notice the yellow indicator & diagnostic message on the multifunction LCD screen as doors as operated. When the bus moved off with open doors, the red indicator comes on additionally and the error message switch to "Door System Failure"
