Lobelia Siphilitica is a perennial border that grows to medium size of 1 m by 0.3 m. Drought levels are low tolerance. The soil types required for growth are bright, Full Sun, Part Shade, Shade, Moist and Wet Soil, Clay, Loam, and Sand. Lavender blue flowers on the top stem are grouped. Bright blue flowers bloom in an extended cluster on a leafy stem on axil bracts.
It usually has a single, erect stem 20 to 59 inches tall or more. The stem is either hairless or hardly hairy. The serrated, alternating leaves are narrowly oval. Leaves range from 3 to 4.75 inches in length and 0.6 to 1.6 inches in width. In an extended cluster, 4 to 12 inches long flowers are grouped.
