Tsunami surging to Ishinomaki city

降雪が激しくなってきた石巻市。鳴り響く警報サイレンの中、高台に多くの人たちが避難してくる。
旧北上川の河口から、徐々に津波が逆流し、航行する船を激しくあおる。
次第に高さを増す波は、家屋まで流し、水面は無数のがれきで覆われる。
映像を海岸側の門脇・南浜地区に転じると、すでに街のほとんどが波にのまれ、壊滅状態に。
なすすべもなく惨状を見つめる人々。やがて、波間に漂うがれきが炎上しだし、爆発音もとどろいてくる。
近くの住宅地から、さらに遠方をのぞくと、黒煙が大きく立ちのぼっている。
Footage: A tsunami attacks Ishinomaki city (Shot from Hiyoriyama park, Ishinomaki city) Snow begins to fall heavier in Ishinomaki city. Many people are evacuating to higher grounds while warning sirens echo. From the mouth of former Kitakami river, the tsunami gradually flows in reverse, violently swaying the ships in sail. The waves gain height little by little, flushing down houses and covering the water surface with countless debris. Switching the footage over to Kadonowaki and Minamihama areas along the coast, most of the city has already been destroyed, from being swallowed by the waves. The people stare at the disastrous scene, but there is nothing they can do. Soon the drifting debris catches fire and sounds of explosion roar. In the distance behind a nearby neighborhood, big black smoke is ascending.
